Wellness Retreat Terms of Service
Thank you for choosing to join us at Takapoto Estate. Please take a moment to review our Terms of Service carefully before completing your registration.
By purchasing a ticket and attending our retreat, you agree to the following:
1. Participation and Responsibility
You acknowledge that participation in all retreat activities (including movement classes, workshops, tours, and herbal preparations) is voluntary.
You are responsible for communicating any relevant health concerns, injuries, allergies, or medical conditions to the retreat facilitators before attending.
You accept full responsibility for your health, safety, and well-being during the retreat.
2. Health and Safety
Our retreat is designed to promote wellness, but it is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
We encourage you to consult your healthcare provider before beginning any new exercise, herbal, or nutrition program.
3. Payment Policy
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
All prices are listed in NZD.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that life can be unpredictable, so we have created a cancellation policy that aims to honour both your commitment and our planning needs:
Cancellations made 30 days or more before the retreat date: You will receive a full refund, minus a $10 administration fee.
Cancellations made 8-29 days before the retreat date: You will receive a 50% refund of the total ticket price.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the retreat date: No refunds will be issued.
No-shows: No refunds will be issued.
Ticket Transfers:
If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to another person. Please notify us at least 48 hours before the event with the new attendee's details.
Retreat Cancellation by Us:
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel the retreat (due to unforeseen circumstances, extreme weather, or low enrolment), you will receive a full refund of your ticket price. We are not responsible for any travel costs or other expenses incurred.
5. Media Release
By attending the retreat, you consent to photographs and/or videos being taken, which may be used for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform us in writing before the retreat begins.
6. Code of Conduct
We are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful space. Disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated, and participants may be asked to leave without refund.
We can't wait to gather, move, and flow with you.
